PROBLEMS OF THOSE DISTRIBUTING BRANDED GOODS ARE PRIMARILY LINKED TO THEIR WORKING WITH THE PRINCIPAL ENTITY (WHICH OWNS THE BRAND BEING DISTRIBUTED) AND SOME OF SPECIFIC PROBLEMS ARE AS FOLLOWS - [BAD QUALITY OF PRODUCT BEING DISTRIBUTED; NO COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGED GOODS LANDING AT DISTRIBUTOR'S STOCK; NON SETTLEMENT OF DISCOUNTS WHICH DISTRIBUTOR EXTENDS TO RETAILER AT INSISTENCE OF PARENT ORGANISATION; IRRATIONAL FREQUENT APPOINTMENT OF NEW DISTRIBUTOR BY REDUCING AREA OF OLD DISTRIBUTOR; SUDDEN CHANGE IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE BY THE PARENT ORGANISATION WITHOUT CONSIDERING IT’S NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THE DISTRIBUTOR; OVER STOCKING AND HENCE UNNECESSARILY BLOCKING WORKING CAPITAL OF DISTRIBUTOR; INVOICING OF WRONG PRODUCT OTHER THAN WHAT WAS ORDERED BY THE DISTRIBUTOR; WRONG COMMUNICATION OF TRADE PROMOTION SCHEMES BY INDULGING IN VOICE COMMUNICATION EVEN FOR MOST IMPORTANT MATTERS; THREATENING AND BLACK MAILING TO SUBMIT TO UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES ON SOME GROUND OR OTHER (AFTER THE DISTRIBUTOR HAS ALLOCATED ALL HIS RESOURCES OF - TIME AND MONEY TO THE LUCRATIVE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY AS PRESENTED BY REPRESENTATIVES OF PARENT ORGANISATION i.e. THE BRAND OWNER)] !!
